Fresh Media ReMixology # 5

Digital Democracy: The New Frontier of Politics and Social Media

****VENUE CHANGE: NOW AT THE WALDORF & AFTERPARTY AFTER EVENT (FREE ADMISSION TO PARTY)

THIS MONTH'S TOPIC //

This one is going to be off the charts "Awesome"!!!

Media innovation plays an essential role in ensuring that the revolution unfolding in communication continues. More than ever before, there is opportunity to take an active role in shaping government and policy in this country. This months event will bring together media innovators, social change organizations and concerned citizens, to talk about social media and citizen engagement. The event will be an interactive dialogue on how we can use social media tools to engage citizens to vote in the upcoming elections, and more broadly in engaging Canadians in important local and global issues.

WHY //
